Mega Yummo will be participating in the Share-A-Meal program at the Ronal McDonald House at the Florida Hospital on May 1, 2011. I will be preparing lunch for about 20 people. I am still trying to decide on what to make so I will need to find some inspiration around town! ;o)
We had “Escargot Persillade en Brioche, Garlic and Parsley Snails in Brioche.” This is what it tasted like, clam on a pillow of garlic butter bread. This was MEGA YUMMO! So tasty and well seasoned. This dish was simple but packed a punch full of flavor. To sum it up… “HOLY MOLY! that’s good!”
I was most interested in tasting the “Seared Albacore Tuna in Romesco Sauce” but when I took a bite out of it… it was salty! This had a potential of being really Mega Yummo but since it was over seasoned I lost interest in eating the rest of it.
We arrived at food station for Australia and the the line was long! The line was moving quickly but it was still pretty crowded. I would have to save that my top favorites so far was the Grilled Lamb Chops.
So seeing that Brazil was one of the newer countries added in the Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, we had to go see what that was all about since my husband, Al, is a native Brazilian.
