Crooked Bayou

Crooked Bayou

This Louisiana style bar is right next door to Casie’s in the downtown Orlando area.

As you walk in, you will notice a big tree located in the center of the place that creates a unique and comforting atmosphere.

Their menu is mostly composed of chicken fingers, burgers and they have an extensive selection of Po’ Boy sandwiches.

They serve a full liquor bar with a decent selection of beers, to name a few: several Abitas, Left Hand IPA and Shipyard seasonal all moderately priced.

My choice of meal for the evening was their Rajin’ Cajun Po’ Boy.

Their sandwiches come with either tots or chips. I chose the hot tots instead of the standard tots since it was highly recommended by my friend Matt. The hot tots are tots covered in hot wing sauce.

The Rajin’ Cajun comes with anduille sausage, Cajun chicken, cheddar cheese, Creole mustard and onions. This sandwich was packed with flavors from the smokiness of the sausage to the spiciness of the chicken and mustard…

it was a MEGA YUMMO choice.

The hot tots were initially great, as time passed and the tots absorbed the hot sauce became soggy. I’m not saying they were bad, but I am picky about my tots being crunchy!

All in all, this relaxed atmosphere is a great place to hang out with your friends for some good food at a great price.
