Treehouse Truck just recently started serving lunches at the Citgo off of University Blvd. and Goldenrod Road. Their first day was on a Tuesday and they were not expecting to draw up an instant crowd but they successfully did!
Everything tasted so good! It was my first time having REAL New Orleans food and I will have to thank my friend Hector for the recommendations! Not to mention, those beignets… are awesome!
Their concept is simple, as you walk in you find pads of sushi-style menus in clip boards on a bar top next to boxes of pencils. You start by choosing to either select from the pre-determined burgers/sandwiches (on the back of the menu) or making your own creation, part by part, fill in your choices and once you are done, you take it up to the register to complete your order.
