Highland Pepper by Omni Hotels & Resorts

We were invited to the Omni Hotel at Champions Gate to sample their new “Homegrown” cocktails, a selection featuring regionally-inspired recipes based on local trends, authentic local flavors and fresh indigenous ingredients. The “Homegrown” menu offers cocktails created exclusively for Omni by an all-star line-up of mixologists including Duggan McDonnell, Kim Hassarud, Adam Seger, Christy Pope and Freddy Diaz.

The Omni Hotel at Champions Gate picks fresh ingredients from their own garden. Here is a recipe to one of their “Homegrown” Cocktails:

Highland Pepper

Glass: Highball Method: Muddle/Shake & Fine Strain
Method: Muddle/Shake & Fine Strain

Ingredients:

  • 1 each Jalapeno Slice
  • Muddle above ingredients
  • 1 each Dash of Celery Bitters
  • 1.5 oz Patrón Silver
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Squeezed Florida Grapefruit Juice
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz Monin Agave Nectar
  • Shake above ingredients with ice

Garnish:

  • Fine Strain over Ice
  • Jalapeno Slice
  • Grapefruit Wheel
