Marrón Acidifié is the first collaboration between The Bruery and Cigar City Brewing, two breweries that share a passion for big beers with rich flavors. The resulting beer was pretty tasty, barrel aged, sour ale that didn’t hang around the shelves for too long. Not surprising, considering the reputation for these two breweries.
I had the pleasure to share a bottle with my good friend Matt and though I must say, it is surprisingly refreshing. It’s tart, but not super sour, very well balanced. I have really enjoyed the Marrón Acidifié and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this style of beer.
