Russian Rivers makes some high caliber beers. I had previously tried a few of their IPAs (Blind Pig, Pliny the elder and Hopfather), but it wasn’t until recently that I was able to get my hands on a bottle of Redemption, Sanctification and Temptation. More about those later! I have two more to come but for now, let’s talk about the Redemption.
Redemption is a Belgian blonde ale with a relatively low ABV. It’s bottle re-fermented, meaning it’s fermented once during brewing and another time while bottled resulting in a nice amount of carbonation. It’s a refreshing and light bodied beer, contrary to my expectations.
I found the Redemption to be an excellent Belgian blonde and fitting for just about any beer drinking occasion.
