The Bourbon County Stout is an seasonal, Imperial Stout brewed by Goose Island Beer Company. It is an extremely rich and full bodied beer. This Imperial Stout is very rich and flavorful, to quote their description, “A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel“. The flavor largely composed of vanilla oak with bourbon whiskey with a rich taste of wood, chocolate malts and bourbon. It is said that this is a great cigar beer, however I have not yet tried it with a cigar.
