Maggiano’s is a casual-up-scale Italian restaurant located on Point Orlando.

You know this place serves great Italian food from the intoxicating scent of garlic and spices always in the air.
Their atmosphere is very soothing and somewhat romantic; however this is place better suited for a meal with the whole family.
I have been to Maggiano’s many times and not once did I have a less than excellent experience.
Their food is some of the best Italian, their service is excellent and their servers are very professional and knowledgeable.
We started off our meal with a half order of the Fried Calamari:
Calamari Fritte, Marinara sauce
It was perfectly seasoned and the calamari was tender and not tough. It was so delicious! It was Mega Yummo! It was one of the best calamari I have had in Orlando. I thought to myself that it was a good thing that we order the half order. The half order could have easily feed 2-3 people.
My wife and I then ordered the Chicken Francese and the Chicken Chopped Salad.
The Chicken Chopped Salad was composed of chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced chicken, crumbled bleu cheese, green onions, avocado, crispy prosciutto, tossed in their house dressing.

This was truly a melody of flavors as the avocado toned down the pungentness of the blue cheese and the crisp lettuce and crunchy prosciutto provided a nice contrast to the tenderness of the chicken.
The Chicken Francese was Chicken lightly battered with a Parmesan Crust in a buttery lemon-wine sauce served with crispy red potatoes, arugula and tomatoes.

It was a delicious dish. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. The subtle touch of the parmasen on the chicken is an excellent combination which makes the dish even more unique. I highly recommend giving this dish a try, if you ever get the chance to go to Maggiano’s.
The ambience is superb and we would recommend to all parties.
