I got a tip from some friends of ours to try out this local pizza joint in Oviedo. It is located in the shopping plaza on the corner of Alafaya Trails and Alafaya Woods. So out of our curiosity and our love for pizza, we just had to investigate.
It is small restaurant that is really close to the supermarket and the gym. We noticed a lot of people walking in and out picking up their order or coming in to place one.
It is self seating and there were plenty of tables to choose from. Though I do have to mention that they did have a good crowd of people for a Tuesday night.
It was a pleasant evening at Gino’s, it was not loud and the service was great. We had plans to try out their pizza and the one we chose to go with was the Sicilian pizza. We chose to have half of the pizza be the “Gino’s Super Special’ and the other half be pepperoni and spinach. It came out beautifully and bigger than expected!
It was this huge 16″ Sicilian Pizza on this pedestal and had a blanket of fresh ingredients. The “Gino’s Super Special” was just a collection of green peppers, black olives, onions, mushrooms, and thinly sliced sausage that just covered the entire half of our Sicilian.
It was so MEGA YUMMO! As I took the first slice out, it made me think, “WOW, this is awesome! They sure didn’t skimp on the toppings!” because there was an avalanche of toppings all over the place.
Nothing was overcooked, though we wished that the pizza was cook a bit longer for the cheese to be hot and gooey. The pizza dough was delicious, it was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was for sure baked evenly which provides you an even distribution of CRUNCH!
On the Mega Yummo Scale, it is rated MEGA YUMMO-O-O-O! 4 Os out of 5 because the pizza could have been cooked hotter to get the gooey goodness of the mozzarella cheese.

Hi, cool post. I have been wondering about this topic,so thanks for writing.
What great pizza pictures. The only time I tasted something close to what these pictures look like was on a cruise to nowhere a coiuple of years ago. No pizza was in reality like in presentation pictures since then.
