Cheesecake Factory at Mall of Millenia

At the Cheesecake Factory at the Mall of Millenia, we were given the choice to sit inside or outside in their heated patio and since I was in the mood to try something new…I chose to go with the heated patio.

I would have to say that it was a good choice because sitting under the heated lamps outside in the cold and crisp weather was a nice mixture to really enjoy the beautiful landscape and modern architecture of the mall.

The glowing festive lights and the surrounding sounds of holiday classics made a simple casual dinner into a more refine dining experience. With an experience like that, always reminds me how it is nice to live in Florida and have cool “winter” nights of 50 to 60 degrees.

As I look over Cheesecake Factory’s novel menu, I decided to go with something different. Sometimes it is hard to decide what to get there because of all the choices you have to pick from.

So searching through the BOOK, I come across something with this description:

“Crispy Chicken Costoletta: Chicken Breast Lightly Breaded and Sauteed to a Crisp Golden Brown, Served with Lemon Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Asparagus”

Sounds interesting huh? Actually… it sounded MEGA YUMMO! So I had to order it out of curiosity.

Crispy Chicken Costoletta

It was Mega YUMMO! The crispy chicken was laying on the lemon sauce so the subtle hint of lemon was a very nice compliment to the tender crispy chicken. The mashed potatoes was very whipped and fluffy so having the chicken with the potatoes together was such a treat. Obviously, their portions are very large and I could only eat about half of the plate and the other half, well that is going to be consumed for a later time. So for a meal as beautiful and tasty as the Crispy Chicken Costoletta at $15.95, it was well worth it!

As for dessert, I did not have cheesecake. I wanted to try out their cake selection. On one of my previous visits to the Cheesecake Factory, I had Cheesecake’s “Linda’s Fudge Cake.” It was phenomenal and since I was left with such a huge impression, I thought that I should try out “Chris’ Outrageous Chocolate Cake.” I wanted to investigate what was so OUTRAGEOUS about this chocolate cake. It was described in the menu as, “A Cheesecake Factory Original-Layers of Moist Chocolate Cake, Chewy Brownie, Toasted Coconut Pecan Filling and Creamy Chocolate Chip Coconut Cheesecake.”

So my thoughts, it was not anything spectacular… it was just ok. I was a bit disappointed that it did not live up to the expectations of “Linda’s Fudge Cake.” –Man! I wish I had a picture of that… maybe next time.
